Modeling Decisions for Artificial Intelligence
Modelització de Decisions per a la Intel·ligència Artificial
Sabadell (Barcelona), Catalonia, Spain, October 30-31, 2008
http://www.mdai.cat/mdai2008
Termini de submissió:
1 Abril, 2008

New: We have added a map in "Venue" and some explanations about how reaching the conference site from the hotel.

Aims and goals: The aim of the MDAI conference series is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss models for decision and information fusion (aggregation operators) and their applications to AI.

In MDAI 2008, we encourage the submission of papers on privacy related technologies, in addition to those related with decision and fusion. Research on information fusion and data integration and their application to privacy is specially welcomed.

MDAI 2008 is the 5th MDAI conference. Previous conferences were celebrated in Barcelona (2004), Tsukuba (2005), Tarragona (2006), and Kitakyushu (2007).

Publication: Proceedings with accepted papers will be published in the LNAI/LNCS series (Springer-Verlag) and distributed at the conference, as done in previous conferences. See LNAI volumes 3131, 3558, 3885, and 4617 (with acceptance rates of 26/53, 40/118, 31/97 and 42/193, respectively).

Besides, papers, that according to the evaluation of the referees, are not suitable for the LNAI but that have some merits will be published in a CD-ROM proceedings (with ISBN) and scheduled in the MDAI program.

Note: A special issue in the journal Soft Computing (Springer) will be published with a selection of the papers accepted for the LNAI.
